Dialysis Fatigue

Is there any word that describes the level of tired I've found myself struggling to survive from?

According to (a division of, a live saver when you realize dyslexia is advancing along with your age) here's their synonyms for "tired":

annoyed, asleep, beat*, beat up, bored, broken-down, burned out*, collapsing, consumed, distressed, dog-tired*, done for*, done in*, drained, drooping, droopy, drowsy, empty, enervated, exasperated, fagged, faint, fatigued, fed up*, finished, flagging, haggard, irked, irritated, jaded, narcoleptic, overtaxed, overworked, petered out*, played out*, pooped*, pooped out, prostrated, run-down, sick of, sleepy, spent, stale, tuckered out*, wasted, weary, whacked, worn, worn out

I believe I'm consumed by a collapsing soul that is fed up with Dialysis because of the tuckered, whacked and worn process it has exasperated on my droopy, drained and haggard form.

Or something like that.

This is how long I've been on Dialysis: I'm getting tired of watching movies.

You must understand that my family had cable in 1975 when our antenna was knocked down by a tree my parents were cutting down. It's pretty funny now but I remember their not-too-pleased expressions at the time.

The impending influx of non-stop nightly films filled my imagination with a visual sense and undeniable wonder that I hold close to my chest today.

But after a while, you grow "overtaxed" (see above) by the process of six movies a week until what seems like the end of known civilization.

Another one of Dialysis' terrible tricks. Damn yellow toothed mongrel.

I will be honest with you though dear Bloggereader (ooh, did I make up a word...I sure hope so) if I could take a week off from Dialysis and not endure the ill effects it would cause, you would able to witness the Road Runner like smoke clouds that would fill the room.

But I can't. God's little joke that only He finds amusing. When I get to Limbo, I will have a few colorful metaphors for Him. Once it's out, then I can relax and float around Limbo with all the other idiots who couldn't seem to find a swell balance between good and evil.

At least I'll be able to float. Accentuate the positive, isn't that what all the psychobabblists say? (Another word created...someone try and stop me.)

If I could leave you with one miniscule thought that's on the tip of my overly jaded mind, it would be this:

--- Please value your health as much as you do your sibling, young child or elderly parent. For there are those wandering the Earth who have never experienced a pain free day. Or a vomit free one. Or a day when they could take their health issues, place them in the back reservoir of their thoughts and just enjoy a day.

You may have no idea what I'm talking about today, but don't worry.

You will.
